 3-day explore  Queen Elizabeth National Park will include the game drive where you will experience the lions, elephants, solitary buffaloes and a boat cruise on kazinga channel where you will have a chance to see buffaloes, elephants, birds like pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle billed stork among others. Queen Elizabeth  park is understandably Uganda’s most popular tourist destination. The park diverse ecosystems,  which include sprawling  savannah, shady,humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetland,make it the ideal habitat for classic big game, ten primate species including Chimpanzees and over species of birds. Set against the  backdrop of the jagged Rwenzori mountains, the park’s Magnificent Vistas include dozens of enormous craters carved dramatically into the rolling green hills, panoramic views of the Kazinga Channel with its banks lined with hippos,  buffalos and Elephants and the endless Ishasha plains , whose fig trees hide lions ready to pounce on herds of unsuspecting Uganda kob, as well assist outstanding wildlife attractions, Queen Elizabeth national park has fascinating cultural  history. There are many opportunities for visitors to meet the local communities and enjoy the story telling, dance music and more. the park was founded in 1952 as Kazinga National park, and renamed two years later to commemorate visit by Queen Elizabeth II, there are a number of activities like birding- classified as important Birding Area(IBA) by birding international Queen’s great variety of habitant mean it is home to over 600 species. This is the greatest of any East Africa national park and a phenomenal number for such a small area. The  park confluence of Savanah and forest , linking to the expensive forest of the DR Congo allow visitor to spot East as well as central African species, Cave  tucked beneath the shady Canopy of Maramagambo Forest is the Bat Cave, the cave has a viewing room from which visitors can  observe the residents bats

Day 1 Kampala – Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

In the morning after breakfast, depart from Kampala heading southwest across the country, through Mbarara town, the home to the impressive long horn Ankole cattle. On the way see the royal drum makers, stand on the Equator, have memorable photographs and bargain at the roadside markets. Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, keeping an eye out for game.
